Only getting to catch up and read the thread now! well done team village.

It couldn't have been played at the worst week. Working from 7am till 4 and no break due to unforseen crap. And didnt get to log in till I was home quite late. Posted a quick hello while catching up on the pages and BOOM, the noose was already round the neck, nothing could be done at that stage.

Least I got to pos ton Saturday before the game went live 🙄

Been a while since I put my twisted mind to good use haha.

I was showing the youngest some old games where I did the kill stories etc.

Also, we came across the Marvel V DC game and that was why I was thinking of a control thing like we did with Kilgrave and Jessica Jones!

I mentioned in the discord chat that I'm planning to run a 3-day in-person game at a family weekend away next month. Below is what I'm currently looking at, anyone able to advise on whether this looks balanced or not?

Players: 22
Roles:
Chief assassin x 1
Assassins x 4
Spy x 1
Priest x 1
Bodyguard x 1
Townspeople x 14
Play:
Everyone will receive their role when we arrive
Only the chief assassin will know who the other 4 assassins are and they will need to make contact with each of their team
Assassins will pick 4 people to murder each day; assassins are allowed to murder themselves
Spy will pick 2 people each day and find out their roles (except the chief assassin who will come back as being as townsperson)
Bodyguard can pick 2 people each day to be safe from assassination (can protect themselves but not the same person twice)
Priest will find out the role of each person who dies, it'll be up to them when/if they want to share this information
Each night (Fri, Sat & Sun), the town will vote to lynch 4 people and also to resurrect 2 people

All picks by roled players to be said to me in person and answers are provided immediately where applicable.

I added the resurrection piece to try and make sure that people who die on D1 retain an interest in the game.
