It's always been a dream of mine to have a forest. Ideally I'd like to get 5 acres or so to start off with. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Are you planning to buy or plant? Where are you located? If you are planning to do the work yourself its a lot of pulling and dragging. There are a couple of estate agents who specialise in forest sales and small portions come up from time to time often during farm succession. If you want a chat you can pm me to arrange a call or visit.

Have you come across the Miyawaki Method? Have a google, a mini forest fast and healthy…

I think it might be worth looking into buying land that has been clear felled. If the owner wants to cash out after dieback etc, Try a few local auctioneers.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
