Is it a birch? The pic of the tree isn't very clear but the leaves look like birch.

100% Poplar 99% Populus nigra. Possibly Populus nigra subsp. betulifolia.

You can check out "seek"; an app developed for National Geographic for identifying flora and fauna worldwide. I use it fairly often here in Can o’ duh.
