Inverter generator

    I bought a Lidl flux core welder but all the places I can actually do work, don't have mains electricity. So I'm looking at inverter generators, knowing very little about them. AI (🙄) is telling me something like >this< will do the job for me with room to spare. Spending as little as possible right now is the budget constraint as this wasn't really too well planned 😁

    Is there better value to be had out there for a machine to suit my needs?

    The tech specs blurb from the manual

    Power supply: 230 V~ / 50 Hz (alternating current)

    Welding current I2: 20–120 A

    No-load voltage U0: 22 V

    Greatest rated value of the mains power: I1 max. 17.3 A

    Effective value of the greatest rated current: I1eff 11.3 A

    Welding wire reel max.: approx. 1000 g

    Welding wire diameter max.: 1.0 mm

    Fuse: 16 A

    Recommended material thickness: 0.8–3.0 mm

    MOD edit; changed welders to generators, hope that's ok?
