No problem with educating 16s and over in politics and civics but there needs to be zero bias/ideological teaching and that cannot be guaranteed with our education system at all.

Edit: My opinion you shouldn't be allowed vote until you've held down a full time job, paid taxes and received nothing in return…. you should feel the kicking from the people in power, then you might question who actually should be running the country.
