I wonder was Frank one of the couriers who apparently looted packages from the depots as soon as it was announced that fastway was gone out of business.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,320 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

Might be, but he was unfortunate to grab a load of Oxendales nonsense that Mary in Clonmel had ordered. Worthless.

His mate got a load of Playstations and sh1t

Man up to his eyeballs in debt wonders how company got up to their eyeballs in debt.

I do have sympathy for him though. It's a rough situation.

Frank started the conversation saying Fastway owed him 4 weeks wages. Now he says they owe him €15,000 in wages. That means he was making €195k a year. Feel less sorry for him now.

Fastway sounds like it was run like RTE, but without the benefit for the taxpayers pocket.

Its a rough situation but I have always found fastway useless. Always had problems with deliveries from them. Their customer service was non existent. DPD are brilliant in my experience.

They are gone because they were crap at deliveries

Caller, someone has to take on 'the load'. People are still buying their online tat.

    Yes.

You do have to honour it. Your contract was with de courier, your customer's contract is with you.

Waiting to the end of the month for da VAT before printing labels must be common practice in Co Clare.

Michael the hairdresser's customers are upset that their products haven't been delivered. Tell them to keep their hair on.

John, yes just like Ray D'Arcy. One day everything is going fine, the next you are gone. A contractor.

"I could have delivered up to 250 parcels a day and I did it with a smile".

As he fucked it out the window of the van as he sped past. Fastway were the worst delivery company in the country and all these drivers now complaining how badly they are being treated were the ones who treated the customers so badly.

Frank says he "could be servicing up to 250 parcels a day for customers with a smile."

    🐂 💩

The only thing you'll maybe see is their face on your camera doorbell, and that's if they even bother to ring it, as they dump your package on your doorstep and hightail it onto the next delivery.

Completely agree. I received a phone call from someone living 15 miles from me to say they had found a package of mine in a ditch opened. I obviously complained to the supplier but I also complained to the local fastway depot. Literally no interest or responsibility showed by them.

I had problems with every delivery from them. It turned me off using business's that use fastway as their delivery service.

Well, it was a diabolical summer of Lahvlahn. Hopefully, it won't recover 😛

Ratings for Liveline dropped to their lowest-ever levels, 279,000 in the period July-September.
