Hi Just curious to people exp on the recruitment. From reading the boards it appears to be very slow and unresponsive some waiting over 2 years to get in. As somebody planning to apply in the next recruitment push I'm seriously hoping the process to get into templemore does not take plus 2 years.

Yes it's a very slow process and the amount of hoops you have to hop though just for a chance of getting an offer to the garda college, if this is really a job you seeing yourself doing in the future then nothing should stop you from applying (hell this is my 3rd time applying for it). Just apply and play it by ear, nothing is stopping you from backing out at any stage of the recruitment drive your allowed to change your mind
