Android Camera App issue and Alternatives

    Has anyone been encountering issues with the native Android Camera App and the video function crapping out constantly.

    Issue has been happening about 3 months now, probably as a result of an update. I've downloaded all the various updates since then also but it hasn't rectified whatever this issue is.

    Basically when I'm recording video and if I zoom in and out in quick succession the video freezes and then a message appears saying "Something went wrong. Video might not be saved" or something to that effect. I usually force close the app and then reopen it, but it nearly happens everytime I zoom which is obviously very frustrating.

    Are there any other free Camera apps for Android that people recommend because I can't keep using the native one with this issue.

    Phone is Pixel 6 Pro.
