Spotted in Aldi Frascati Centre, Blackrock. I bought about 30 cans but there were another 30 or so left. Not sure if all stores.

I'm sure that's the price they usually are

Got some in the fridge now so I'll soon find out if Its a bargain or not! If that's the usual price as 112143 says, I've never seen it before.

Usual price. It's alright and good value at the price, not sure I'd concur with it's IPA tag though. More a hoppy lager

I'm not a fan of it at all.

Don't do it.. it's that price for a reason. It's absolute muck!

    Thin, weirdly floral, no head!

A sink-pour if ever there was one.

Dreadful beer. If you take off the excise duty and Aldi's cut from the 99c, this muck likely has had hops dipped in water for ten seconds to keep the price down.

I got a couple of cans when it first came out and they were awful. I wouldn't recommend it or buy again.

I don't agree that it must be bad because of the price. It's bad because it's bad. There's lots of MUP priced beer thats good.

Yeah, agreed. It's difficult to make a bad beer these days but they've managed it. Was hoping it would be good, as for the price and low ABV would have been handy for having a few during the week.

I remember I used to buy Fink Brau there. Innocent days.

I picked up a few of these a while back, drank one and the rest are in the fridge. Unless I've nothing else, they will probably get washed down the sink.

I totally understand your experience sometimes new releases just don’t live up to the hype. You’re right, price doesn’t always determine quality youtube vanced; there are plenty of affordable beers that taste great. It’s disappointing when something new misses the mark, but hopefully they’ll improve the recipe or offer better options in the future.

Thanks to the stupid "MPU" Legislation, alcohol bargains don't/can't realistically happen here anymore.

That and the alcohol section being tucked away and behind barriers was one of that most regressive policies the last govt introduced , and I say that as someone who doesn't drink an awful lot.

    Absolute nanny state bolloxollogy
