Are fixed term secondment positions year long positions or are they Sept to June(post primary)?Trying to figure out if you'd receive pay during midterm,Easter,summer etc?

Like with Oide?
It's a calendar year if that's what you are referring to. 1st September - August 31st. You still get paid through Dept of Education / ETB.

You get paid your salary as normal. So you get paid Sept - August (this is all dependent on you having a full time CID already). How many holidays you get depends on where you’re working.

I'd be covering the position in school for the teacher going on secondment.

If it's a year's contract then you should be paid for the year including holidays.
