Anyone familiar with Risco wicomm alarm from Network Security

I was onto network security today.

They're offering 7 accessories including a flashing box, fobs and camera foc for 26.99 p/m with free installation.

They use a Risco wicomm box as opposed to Homsecures Ajax system.

Can anyone advise if it's any good please?

That would be a very basic system IMO.

Most systems will cover perimeter, windows and doors, meaning the alarm would trigger before an intruder is in your home.

A pir activating with that system is them inside the home.

Also for access around the house at night, most of these PIRs would be off in partset.

I wouldnt put a PIR cam in the hall as this will be setup as an access zone so shouldnt trigger the alarm once an entry point, e.g. Front Door is opened.

Dummy external bell wont ring outside either.

Unlimited app ussage while the system is monitored.

Are the Ajax self installs easy to do? Will probably work out cheaper in the long run.

These systems are designed to give you an alarm that they recoup over the long term and then more if you are past the contract.

I havent used that system myself but know a few who have.

Its an app, scan the code on the sensor job, so straight forward enough once you are confident fitting the sensors.

Lots on here have done the same with no issues.
