1: can a planning application for an extension be combined with a retention planning application or are two separate applications required?

2: Where the retention pertains to raising the roof line on part of a shed, are the fees calculated on the floor are of the bit in question, even though no additional floor area is being added

    Thanks as always

    1. Both can go in under the same application. Probably best if they do.
    2. I would say if no floor area was added, the fee is likely that for a Class 2 development, which would be €102 (€34 x 3 for retention)

Retention for the shed roof raising - €102

Planning for the alterations (or whatever requires the planning part) - €34

    Total 136.00

Don't forget to state the retention and planning application on public notices, tick boxes etc
