Had a google speaker, just moved to Alexa. We just use TodayFM so may not work for Newstalk but what we say is

"Alexa/Ok Google, play TodayFM on TuneIn"

Irelands Newstalk Radio” works for me.

The only news they support now is Truth Social.

Try "Newstalk Radio". Always works for me, though having to listen to a stream of ads before the station actually comes on puts me off and I often just switch to a station that doesn't have this "feature".

It has to be said in the 'correct' accent.

Enable the RadioFeeds skill at lsn.to/alexa, then say "Alexa, play N.T.K. from RadioFeeds".

There shouldn't be any annoying pre-roll adverts as far as I'm aware.

Does anyone else get the random fade outs? They have been going on for months now. Both on FM and Streaming. The audio will slowly fade out, then back to full volume.. How can they not notice it? Maybe I am just going mad haha

Shpongler: "Does anyone else get the random fade outs?………….."

yes, the audio would gradually fade down to nothing over approx 3 seconds then jump back up to full volume. I was wondering if it was an issue with just the FM transmitter I receive from, but obviously not if also affecting streaming,
