What do their T&Cs say? I'd imagine they would say that their decision is final.

You're asking if a business can decline to accept someone as a customer? Yes, of course they can. The only exception is that they can't discriminate based on a (legally defined) list of protected characteristics e.g. age, race, nationality etc.

I found t&c online and I meet the criteria for signing up as in no penalty points, no accidents, resident in Ireland, not a professional sports person or professional model, no medical condition or injury/illness that prevents me from driving.. I meet it all.

It doesn't say their decision is final and then I get an email saying my application has been declined and in the same email saying if I believe this is in error send customer service an email or call, so sounds like they can do something if it's an error. I sent an email to them and they seem to give a generic copy and paste reply because other reviews online and others had the same issue and it has been declined because of insurance purposes and what their insurance company says they have to go by that.

I understand a company can decline a customer. But if they are using insurance as an excuse but I meet all the criteria as stated in the terms, that doesn't make any sense to me.
