Temporarily Sealing round esb box in garden wall for privacy.

There is virtualy a 2" gap round this and its quite annoying. I have tried using a piece

of 1/2"dia neoprene pipe insulation and it not only fits very well but also looks well and would be easily removed by ESBN if ever required.

Is it ok to do this.

can’t see any photos but you described it well enough and I don’t see any reason why not. I’d say that’s an ideal solution
