    Hi everyone,

I've published a book Irish words of wisdom our elders used to say and other treasures found along the way a few years ago. I'm thinking about another book and trying to get old quotes/sayings people have heard from Irish people. I'd really appreciate any if anyone has any. I have all the usual's from the Irish greats, looking for the hidden gems. Thanks very much! Kate

A cousin in County Clare once told me that "I've nothin' to do and all day to do it". Also, "the weather in Clare was lovely this week. It only rained twice: once for three days and once for four days."
