If the noise of the fan bothers you, leave the oven door open when you've finished using it, it will cool faster and the fan won't run for as long.

Ovens tend to come with user guides - take a look here to see if you can find it- it should give you a guide to cook times etc

Oven chips is a 25 minute job on average once oven has heated up to temperature circa 200deg - my oven takes 5 mins to reach this - so a 30 minute “job” all in -55 mins is madness

Have you tried baking flan cakes? Or doing say a chicken? Both items would have pretty standard cooking times.

The fan noise doesn’t sound good but it may well be classed as “normal” by the company

2000 euro sounds a lot but in reality you have what looks like 2 ovens a grill a warming tray and a hob? I think my 1 oven cost over a grand nearly 8 years ago - just to put things into perspective

Find out if WHICH magazine reviewed this oven - if they did I’d pay subscription to review - you’ll know soon enough if your experience matches theirs - if it doesn’t , assuming their review isn’t that bad, then send it to the company. You have tons of consumer rights here- get busy using them but you’ll need proof - record all activity with the oven and the outcome.
I assume it was fitted by a qualified sparky?

Regarding the fan noise we purchased a similar, but not identical, Belling range type cooker & the fan noise was horrendous at times. A service technician visited & established that the noise was as a result of the rear panel of the cooker vibrating. The panel is just a flat metal sheet with no reinforcement. He managed to stop the vibration by using washers between the panel & frame but this fix didn't last long until it was vibrating as bad as ever. I fixed the problem myself by fitting a reinforcement bar across the back of the rear panel.

Regarding the cooking times, our old Belling cooker cooked stuff in the oven much quicker than the new one but this was because the thermostat in the old cooker was not working correctly.

The oven is most likely multi function, if you set the oven for fan assist at 150 degrees c it should reach temperature in eleven minutes, all ovens with a good fan motor and circa 2 kw element will perform similar, it has most likely a poor performing fan motor, the fan motor should rotate at high speed, the fan motor iisyou hear running after turning off the oven is for cooling the switches and door glass with a down draught

if you set it for mixed wash at 40 c and press the speed sensor it will do the wash in 46 minutes, if you need a quicker wash it will do a 30 degree in 15 minutes, time to do a bit of reading up on the handbook

The OP has an oven issue not a washing machine issue. See your post above your last post.
