I am totally lost with this problem , hopefully someone will be able to advise as to how to fix it.

We have a couple of Echo Dots at home. One in kids room, another in the kitchen. The Alexa account is linked to Spotify. Tv is also linked.

The problem is that randomly, when someone is listening to music in one location, it'll play on other linked devices. Kinda annoying when child listening to music upstairs and it takes over what you're watching on tv.

Also, OH was out walking, listened to Spotify on her phone, and what she was listening to played on the tv, and both Dots at home!!

Im afraid to listen to Spotify now when I'm on nights, in case all the Dots start playing music at 3am.

Anyone know how I could fix this?
