    Hi all,

    Any advice appreciated here. I got a second hand mmi unit put into my A6 but was told it would need component protection removed. MMI shows gala options in sound menu and not the Bose options the car came with.

    Can anyone recommend somewhere to get the component protection removed anywhere in the country? Dealer wont touch second hand unit.

    Radio works sometimes when GALA is displayed but then no sound when it recognizes the Bose amp, strange one and really stumped.
