Getting attic converted, how much should we improve insulation?

So we have bad insulation in our unconverted attic - semi-d 1970s house. The attic conversion company quote is only for 100mm warmboard in ceiling and stud walls but can increase to 100mm spray and 62mm warmboard for extra. Is this the way to go or do we need less or more insulation? Should I consult a BER assessor before proceeding? Thanks

No need for an assessor, don't allow any spray insulation
