    Hi,

My Triton shower has power going to the unit (blue light), inlet is clear and flow seems fine, but only getting a humming sound from the unit, no pressure or hot water, any idea what's wrong? Vid so you can hear what it sounds like https://i.imgur.com/rwMmVxE.mp4

    Thanks in advance

Solenoid valve. Only a few euro and easy to replace.

Ok thanks for that! Local shower man was gonna charge 80 quid call out fee and god knows what on top

I checked the solenoid with a multimeter today and it's reading just over 3.5 kohms, according to YouTube this is normal for a working solenoid, so could it be something else?

If you have a trickle of water then not the solenoid.

Could be airlocked, a faulty motor or power pack.

Thanks, changed the solenoid, no difference, think there is enough water coming through so need to look again

Silent motors are brushless motors. There are no brushes to change

Just saw the video now. Sound wouldn't work for me. Has the shower been working OK before this or is it a new installation?

Shower looks very glossy for a mat black shower. I've never seen my reflection in one like that before

Try the troubleshooting tips in the link below. Could be air lock. Also unscrew the hose going into the shower pole. Try run the shower without using the pole. Just use hose. This will identify if it's the pole or not
