I had an appointment today with a man from Independent hearing and living. He gave me a hearing test for a hearing aid. I told him I’d do the three week trial. After he finishes testing he asked me to sign a digital form to say that I’d agreed to take the trial. I didn’t read the form and now I’m scared I’ve committed myself to something.
can anyone help with this please.

Without seeing what you signed, I doubt anybody can comment. Contact them for a copy.

You have 14 days from receipt of product to change your mind

Are you sure you didn't get a copy of what you signed by email

If you signed online you have 14 days to cancel under the distance selling laws. Find out exactly what you signed up for and ask someone in your family to help you.

They are well respected, so I think you'll be fine.

However, you should ALWAYS read documents you are asked to sign ESPECIALLY any clauses on costs, increase of fees (broadband and mobile companies have this) and cancellation terms.

If someone rushes you - DECLINE.

In this case you'll be fine but make sure you read and conditions of the free trial and be aware of them

If you haven't given any details like card number etc. you're ok.

As others said because bit more cautious dealing with this kind of thing in future.

No, no card details or bank details.
I definitely will think twice about this sort of thing.
I feel better now after your comments. Thank you

If you are unsure about anything ask a family member to look over it. Or give citizens advice a call.
