Increment Date in civil service

hello there, Would anybody have any idea how soon after you pass your years probation in a new role, that you get your increment? Is it of immediate effect once you hit your year’s anniversary or is there usually a delay? I know it’s not much on a new starter’s pay scale but as Tesco says every little helps! TIA😊

Its usually awarded from the anniversary of your start date however it may take a few pay runs for it to show up in pay depending on a few variables but it's always back paid.

Thanks so much @kippy for coming back to me. It is reassuring to know it is back paid if it is late as I badly need it at the moment to pay bills etc. Hope you get to enjoy some sunshine today😊
