Only 3 Karen's Diners Left In The World

I don't know if anyone has heard of the rudest restaurant in the world Karen's Diner. I went in the Sheffield one which now has shut down in January 2023, in the UK. Not so long ago there were 3 in the UK, in Australia, in New Zealand and United States. I've just had a look at their website and apparently there are only 3 left in 2025. London, Dublin and a new one in Singapore.

A fad that just about had its day, the Australian company that ran them there went into liquidation. People generally don't like having the piss taken out of them.

The one in Dublin is in one of the worst locations in the city, and is forever on Groupon/Livingsocial etc. offering cur-price meal deals. It will not be around for much longer.

Yeah it sounded like a good idea around a table as the creators were stoned, but probably not something with longevity. In Ireland it certainly won't last long.

It was very much a novelty idea borne out of social media engagement; bring someone who didn't know how the waitresses etc act, film their reaction, post it online. It was always going to fizzle out fairly quickly.

The worst part were the people filming themselves then being rude back to the waitresses. Dumb f*cks, you have literally paid to go to a specific diner where the waitresses are rude to you, that does not entitle you to be rude back.

In Ireland it certainly won't last long.

It's already lasted way longer than I expected it to, it opened last February.
