Cellphone for visually impaired

A relative has been able to cope with her iPhone until now despite difficulty in making out letters and icons, but she has recently had a steep decline in vision and can no longer read or use anything with words or small icons. Intellectually she is fine: this is a problem of visual acuity. A little testing showed she can recognise faces of family members if they are full-screen, so what's needed is a cellphone that will display a swipable L-R selection of very large pictures, and pressing one will make a call. Everything else must be completely turned off except answering an incoming call — so no texts or anything else: the usual cacophony of bleeps and buzzes will no longer be actionable. Is there anything like this on the market, or an app that will do this and disable all other functions?
