Where can I donate lots of lentils for chickens (etc)?

I have a literal heap of LOTS of just out of date dried lentils and beans (all kinds) unopened and uncooked in their packets to donate to someone with hungry pet critters that would enjoy them.

Can't donate them to the Simon friars because they are a bit 'out of date' and so not legal for them to offer to people, but, it would make me sad to put them all into the bin.

They should be good to feed for quite a while to come, they are only a few month over the date on the packet.

If anyone knows where I can donate them, please let me know.
