Crack in PING Driver

Just noticed a crack on the underside of my G430 Driver, where the weight ports are. I bought it in June 2023.

Just wondering where I stand. I've heard stories of this happening to people and them being sent a replacement but not feeling too confident of getting it sorted. It was bought new in a custom fit session at McGuirks. Would they be able to sort it or do I have to ship it off to Ping in Arizona?

I mean, the thing is made out of titanium, surely there is some sort of warranty on it?

Anyone have any experience in this?

Bring it back to where you bought it, there will be a warranty.

    I think there's a warranty of a few years.

I'd email online.sales@mcguirksgolf.com. I have always found them very quick to respond to emails.

Bring it into where you bought it. Warranty of 2 years on most drivers.

More than likely you'll get the newest version. So handy G440 for you👍

So I rang PING and they told me to drop it at McGuirks. They were lovely about it to be fair to them. Took it off me and are going to send it back to PING and they told me they would replace the head but would take 2-4 weeks.

Only small downside is that they took the shaft off me which ironically I'd only just regripped and had shortened slightly on the weekend so I may or may not get that back. And to give McGuirks credit, they did say they could sort me out with another custom-fitted shaft on the house if I was to not get it back.

They had a record of my order from 2 years ago so I'm actually surprised at how smoothly all that went considering I didn't have a receipt to hand.
