Hi All. I've an old hardi sprayer that has a diaphragm pump type 500 which mounts directly onto the pto. I cannot mount directly onto the tractor (worked on old small massey) because there isn't space.

The sprayer has a 200lt drum and I think the pump spec is 20L/min.

Anyone Ever replace the original pump with a 12v pump? If so, any recommendations on type to get or best place to get one

There is no reason you cannot. You matu have to replace some of the hoses from the tank to the pump and onto the boom. However most pumps will be 1/2 inch.

I would not get too worried about flow rate. Sureflo do them as do other suppliers. Just Google it and you will come accross the right one.

You will need to do a flow test after wards to determine tge rate you spray at.
