Scrolling screenshot/capture

Apologies not sure where to post. Anyone know any Programe or app that's currently working, to take a scrolling screenshot/capture? T.i.a. Handful of ones online but don't seem to be working to do the intended purpose. T.i.a.

I wrote a script that did just that about 15 years ago, for a job application.

I got the job but I am not sure if I still have the code or if it still works.

Like the comment above mine, I'd expect today there are loads available

Any chance you could write a couple of lines / steps how to do it! : ) If you get a chance, no bother if not.

Capture -—> Scrolling Capture. What then?!?

It either captures the black ShareX Window or just the active screen that's behind ShareX that you want to capture. -Not- scrolling screen.

Capture → Scrolling capture → Select the area you want to capture by left clicking one corner, drag the mouse to the opposite corner, release the button and scroll … when you stop, after a second or two it will do the snip.
