New Silvermines bus

Great to see that from tomorrow (Monday 31st March 2025) Local Link are introducing a several times daily bus route from Silvermines to Nenagh by means of an expansion of the current route 854. After years of the village just having the Fridays-only Newport - Nenagh Bus Éireann service it will now have six buses each way…

Great to see that from tomorrow (Monday 31st March 2025) Local Link are introducing a several times daily bus route from Silvermines to Nenagh by means of an expansion of the current route 854.
After years of the village just having the Fridays-only Newport - Nenagh Bus Éireann service it will now have six buses each way daily.
On the downside though there doesn't appear to be any stop between Silvermines and Nenagh - so what about the communities along the way? - it certainly would be handy if the bus could serve Dolla.
