Unable to renew Leap Card

Have you had it registered online? You need to buy a new card and move your balance to a new card. Make sure you block the old card.

Unfortunately no. I'm trying to create a new leap card but it's saying that I already have a valid leap card.

That's odd. I have 2 active cards in the Leap card online portal and there're both linked with one login.
