Have also noticed the keypad lags a bit from inputing digit to seeing the starred out number sometimes it even completely misses a digit being entered in thinking the panel is on the way out ?
Any help greatly appreciated

More than likely when you pressed a key on the keypad it didnt register.
Could be under the rubber keys needs a clean. Something dry only, if you are cleaning it.
