    Hi guys.

I have a couple questions on the Naim Uniti Atom Headphone Edition.

Firstly can you use the built in streamer function by itself into an external amp / DAC ?

Can you use the built in DAC into an external amplifier ?

How is the Tidal integration? Is it native?

Does the streamer offer a software based upscale option for streaming ?

I look forward to your responses.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi GeneticDeviant,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - I'll try to get back to your queries and great to chat to you again.

The Uniti Atom has XLR Pre amp outputs so you can stream directly into an external power amp no problem but there are no digital optical or Co-ax outs to enable plugging into a pure external DAC, but again using the XLR outs you can plug into an external power amp.

The Tidal is native and you can access it via the Naim app and the Atom supports Tidal Connect or of course you can access the Uniti Atom via the Tidal app once you have activated Tidal in the Atom's inputs.

I'm not an expert on the Atom (mainly a desk jockey these days unfortunately) but it looks like most people if they want to upscale use Roon - but I can check with the guys instore for you no problem.

Thanks again GD and keep us posted,
