    Hi all,

If working on a job as a sole trader, and I decided I need a hand for a few days, and I get someone who works casually but they are not set up as a sole trader or anything like that, how do I pay them?

Let’s say the job is €1,000. I pay them €350 and I keep €650 for myself. But how do I offset or account for their wages? I obviously don’t want to pay tax on the €1,000 if I am only seeing €650 of it.

But if there not set up as a trader or a company (and don’t want to be) what are my options?

Thanks in advance for those that can reply.
