Raised planter box

HHi We are revamping our garden and building a raised planter bed at the back for bamboo. It will be concrete.This is for screening. What width should they be? I see 1.2m is used quite a bit. I thought they would be smaller width wise. What would be the minimum width in people's opinion. Thanks
