When they repair footpaths, they will dish any entrances in place, some got lucky in that regard.

That would appear to be the case.

Just before Covid, a row of houses near me got wind the LA were doing the paths in the new year. I got 3 houses in a row all in for planning and they got the paths dished for free then 😁. Usually costs about €800. 👍

You might be lucky in your case, it really depends on how good the buyers survey is to be honest and how well clued in they are.

…with that approach, well that would be a gamble really. Id guess most people who’d no intention of selling in the short/medium term would just go ahead (rightly or wrongly), especially if neighbours had done the same.

    EDIT:

Saw this link for a company that looks after the application.

As another poster pointed out you could look up previous applications and you’d know how to do it yourself & probobly not as daunting as it may seem. .

the back don’t require a survey, they do require a valuation. The valuer may comment on it. But the surveyor isn’t a requirement.

Hi @snx92 , I was wondering if you went ahead?
I am looking for some examples as I do not think I need all the paperwork for this type of things.

No I still haven't wondering has anyone else tried to go about the process themselves ? ... Just works out too pricey for us to get someone to do it for us right now

You are wrong. You will need all the paperwork, the same as of you are applying for any other planning application. Drawings, newspaper notice, site notice etc.

What kind of prices are you getting and where are you based?

HHi . Just to avoid any confusion. Is the OP talking about an existing driveway with dishing in place and has vehicular access that is getting the pillar moved to widen the access OR its pedestrian access now and wants to convert to vehicular access and get dishing etc???

Kinda irrelevant as both require planning before you can get the dishing done.
