Was that 20k for both the EWI and the windows?

Pic attached. And yes you can see some staining on the render (it’s been almost three years since it’s been installed).
Is it even possible to install the sills now?

You can fix this by fitting oversills, but the kicker here is going to be the render repair and the junction between the sill and the bottom of the window.

Send a photo to PassiveSills in Cork and see what they recommend.

First purpose of windows and render is to protect the fabric.

IMO, it's not broken from that perspective so leave well enough alone.

There is no free board below the opes to allow the oversill to be fitted so you would want to be on the white stuff to consider f+++ing with it as it is.

😂… alright, sounds like a challenge, but you ain't gonna like the finish!

But yes, you do have a perspective. Up to the customer how he wants to proceed based on the info provided.

    Thanks for the advice.
Looking back I should have gone with sills but have no real issue with how it looks.

My main concern is if this will cause an issue down the line given there isn’t that much of a slope on the “rendered sills”. If, as the supplier said, the silicone render will provide sufficient waterproof protection then I’d probably leave well enough alone.

I spoke to someone in Passive Sills who are going to get me a quote (they’ve never heard of not installing sills) but given there seems to some work involved I don’t think this would be cheap!
