Street light on garage, easy to change to something else?

I have a street light on the front of my garage, hasn't worked in several years.

Does anyone know if it's a simple task to change it over to another form of light? Thinking a bulk head type, as the area gets a lot of football action and anything else might get a battering.

All depends on the wiring really. Just whip it off and then decide on whether you need to extend the wiring by using a waterproof enclosure (looks very exposed too, so it needs to be a solid enclosure such as a whiska box with screw-in glands) and then extend the wiring out to the new fitting. Just be aware that the original light was obviously directional and a bulk-head if installed on the wall surface will project light 360-degrees around, so you'll have a significant loss of effectiveness. A caged bulkhead would be what you need if you were going down that route.
