    Hi all,

As a sole trader, if I wanted my take home fee to be a clear €300 a day, how much should I be charging to cover the tax that I would have to pay?

Is there a percentage that I need to apply?

Similarly, if I had a helper who wanted to clear €180 a day, what would they need to cover their tax etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Unfortunately your missing a bit of information here which would be needed to calculate this figure as it varies from person to person. Such as what are your tax credits, are you married or any other information. How many days per week will you be working? As typically your tax at 20% for the first €44,000 (if your single) and then 40% of the balance.
