Rogue Traders Protected In Ireland

    Why are rogue traders protected in Ireland? If you take a rogue trader to the Small Claims Court they can choose to ignore all correspondence and the County Sherriff with no punishment. It's a joke.

    TThere's no law out there to protect innocent people from these con artists and they seem to operating in a lot of trades here and are getting away with it.

    It's crazy how there's no regulation here and all these cowboys get away with it. How there's not mass protests all over the country about it as it seems to be happening everywhere.

    The fact that so many people want cash deals might have something to do with it, I'd say.

    It's hard to have a well regulated industry if people want to deal under the radar.

    there are more rogue customers than traders i would guess. every trades person i know is robbered every year by customers who wont pay , or will only pay some of it or similar

    so its a persopnality type problem not a job issue

    I advertised a few jobs for our place and I had to take it down because there was so many scumbags replying and they just all looked dodgy.
