So sad to see people still have a use for those things, they remind me of a depressing time in my life, living with large single glazed windows, smokey turf open fire, tripping over extension leads and mum and dad shouting at us to shut the door, condensation on the outside of the windows, hopefully never again

Got one yesterday, great heat off it… Warmed up a medium sized room really quickly…

Not sure why there are 3 heat settings, and then a min max setting, the instructions were not too clear… Must be 0-100% per heat setting.

Ah I wasn't unhappy, it's just molded me to avoid heat loss, in fact any form of energy loss, I was lucky enough to get to build my own house, and wife had to stop me removing and shrinking windows in the design's over and over again and leaving only walls and doors

This reminds me of my college days only we had frost and ice on the inside of the windows!! I used to wear more clothes to bed than I did when leaving the house in the morning😥

The dial is probably a stat, so find about 20c and weld the dial to stop feickers messing with it

well setting 3 on max temp heats up a room quick. mine went from18 degrees to 21 in about 12 minutes

Good bargain. I have a well relatively well insulated house, but when i'm working on the PC for a few hours there's no point heating the entire house. These heaters and a smart plug are very handy to boost the heater for 20mins or so.

Some fumes out of it when first turning it on, I was convinced it was going on fire as it was smoking. Seems to have settled down.

Disappointingly there is damage to the frame so I'm going to see if I can exchange it.
