    I've been searching frantically on Ticketmaster for tickets for my young lady and her buddy and me for 3Arena gig for Gracie Abrams. And lo and behold, my perseverance came through. Finally tickets showed up today, and I bagged 3 standing tickets. I have to accompany the 2 ladies. The issue that I now have is that the 2 girls are only just gone 13, and my daughter looks even younger. The regulations on the tickets say that have to be 14 to be in the standing area. I am going to try to swop them for seating tickets, and pay some cash with it, but it's going to be difficult to get 3 seats together.

    I know it's like how long is a piece of string, but anyone have any idea/experience on how much they enforce the under 14 rule for the standing area. Kids that age don't generally carry around ID. For the Gracie Abrams gig, there will be lots of teenagers there (not like the usual gigs that I go to where there are not many kids, and it is easy to identify and stop someone that is obviously underage. But for these type of gigs (e.g. Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae etc), do they review each individual going into the standing area and ask for ID, or make a call on their age etc.

    If there is any risk re the standing area, I will really try to get them swopped for seating tickets.

    they don’t enforce the standing rule when a parent is there and it’s borderline on the age. You’ll be fine

    Thanks Fanirish. They would find it difficult to enforce it for that type of gig alright.

    Next problem - how to make my daughter grow about 10 inches in the next 2 months so that she can see the stage. I'm sure there is some invention of those type of boots out there.

    there will be screens either side and I’m sure the stage will be raised and she might have a B stage/island

    Keep trying on Ticketmaster. More tickets will definitely pop up in the next 6 weeks. If I see tickets, I'll buy a few and sell them on here or Toutless - to people who legitimately need them. I was looking at the tickets on the touting websites, and they are crazy prices. And may not be completely trustworthy either.

    Hi, would anyone know if on Ticketmaster it has been saying fur the last few weeks limited availability but now says low availability would you think tickets might become available at some stage. Why does it go from limited to low.

    yellow = low availability

    Red = limited availability

    The difference between them is as follows:

    Low availability means that close to zero tickets are available from current allocation that TM have to sell.

    limited availability means that close to zero tickets are available from overall venue capacity that TM has recorded for that show.

    Say for example Gracie Abrams in 3 arena is 14,000 capacity show.
    TM might have initial allocation on the system at 13,500 cause promoter is holding back 500 tickets.
    when 13,000 tickets are sold it turns to yellow as low availability. It stays yellow until the 500 held back are either released or recorded on system as being sold. It then turns red meaning no more tickets are available directly from TM.

    With resale tickets these can show up anytime and the colours usually don’t switch back and forth.

    A show can turn from red to yellow if promoter/TM alter initial venue capacity on the system. It might result in production holds being released but these might go instantly and may be only a handful.

    Yip. You were correct. No mention of ages at all in the standing area. There were kids there the couldn't have been any more than 8 or 9. But there didn't seem to be any issue getting them in.

    Great gig. She's a great singer. Bit over the top with how much she loves us all. But the teenagers lapped it up.

    Just to note - girls singing voices are generally pleasant enough. But when you take a few thousand passionately roaring the lyrics back to Gracie, it is not a pleasant sound. But didn't take away from the enjoyment of the gig. It was lovely to see such excitement in youngsters. My young lady was recording the whole thing on her phone. Jumping around. Phone wobbling in the air. I was going to advise her to put it away for a while and just enjoy the gig. But I guess that's the difference between a guy in his 40s, and a 12 year old girls priorities. I just let her at it.

    Nice review & nice of you to bring your daughter. And I sense it was very wise to "just let her at it"!

    Well done.

    PS: Had to look up Gracie Abrams. Not my cup of tea at all! But, fair play to you.
