Electric showers not working after power outage & low voltage.

Hi there, we were without electricity for a couple of days, power eventually came back but on a low voltage so lights were dimmed and some appliances were working on and off.

Got full power back last night but my 2 electric showers have no power. They have not tripped out so I am wondering could they have been damaged during the power cut or is their something obvious I am missing?

Two pumped (booster) showers running off the hot-tank, or two full electric (so heating the cold water from the attic)? If they are the full electric showers, do they have a priority switch at the main consumer unit? Any lights coming on at the showers at all?

What you're describing might be a brownout and it can cause some electrical faults alright.

I have a pumped shower which is working fine but nothing with the two full electric showers. No light on the switch outside the bathrooms but nothing tripped in the cabinet. If it was one shower that was damaged I wouldn't be surprised after the brownout but the two of them makes it look like their might be something else holding them out.

    as 10 10 20 says

Check for a priority switch (possibly in attic)

    Rcd probably tripped
