HKC alarm.. how to remove external alarm battery?

Power cut. Control panel on alarm says "no rkp comms". I think it means battery is dead in alarm control box. I disconnected the black and red leads from that but Outside siren continues. Is there another battery in the outside bell box? When i remove the cover, here's what i see…Attached photos. I don't see anything that…

Yes the battery in the control panel could be causing the issue.
If you down power, battery and mains then power back up with battery disconnected the keypad should come back on line.
