Had a small leak in my hot water/immersion tank. One of the flanges O ring broke down and must have been leaking for some time. Floor saturated in the airing cupboard. Not great but think I caught it before went past point of repair. Tank now fixed.

So had a little look online and can see sonoff do moisture sensors and theres a couple different types. Has anyone installed one on floor where hot water tank is and can advise best way/place to put it? Early warning system could have saved me here

EDIT: I have smart life app for my smart switches so preferably something that ties in with that.

    something like this?
