Directorial debut from Mark Anthony Green. You'll recognise Ayo Edebiri from The Bear and of course, Malkovich from around the way. Feels similar to a few things that have popped up in recent years.

I think it's becoming somewhat of a sub genre. You could say something like Triangle of Sadness is a similar tone too. I think the fact that a lot of this odd cultish stuff with celebrities and billionaires is a real thing makes it pretty easy to approach it from all kinds of angles. So I'd want to see the finished movie to judge.

That must be Nigel with the brie...

Great film. Along the same lines as Blink Twice yes, but there is a lot more going on under the surface in this one. If I had to pick an actor to play a diva pop star Malkovich would not even enter my head in a million years but he pulls it off beautifully. If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it 😄 The Ariel actress is very good, I haven't seen her before but will keep an eye on her now. It's great to see Juliette Lewis again and having great fun with her role.

Ayo Edebiri is Ariel she is an excellent actress! Brilliant in the Bear and very funny in Bottoms. She also a running thing about being Irish lol.

I am hoping to see this weekend.
