Does anyone have any confirmation that if your salary which is paid weekly is below the new minimum wage if the salary should be increased to the new level?

I am trying to understand your question properly

If you are an experienced adult worker, you are entitled to minimum wage.

Get this though, if you have no relevant experience, this is - or was, a loophole that you were not entitled to min wage. Can you clarify this.

There's a separate rate for under 18s, 18 year olds, 19 year olds and then a rate for everyone 20 and above.

If its a salaried role your equivalent hourly rate must meet the minimum hourly wage rate.

40 hrs x 13.50 is 540 so you must be paid at least 540 a week if you are 20 or over and working 40 hrs a week.

Annualised salary must be at least 28,080 per annum

There are definitely exceptions for apprenticeships and maybe some other training roles where gaining experience and training are key.

The other alternative is they could cut your official hours, and leave the salary the same.
