    so i recently got accepted for disability allowance and it said on the letter a swipe card will be sent to me if i dont already have one . I dont , I was on jobseekers for 2years without one but they have my picture on their system will the disability send me out one on their own ?

    You will have to apply for one & a first time applicantion has to be done face to face at your local SW office.

    You'll need to make an appointment, bring photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence) & Recent Proof of address. They need to take a Digital photo to put on the card, existing images on their system won't /Can't be used.

    I'm surprised you were able to collect Jobseekers payment without a PSC as its a requirement.

    Nonetheless, the reason they are saying they'll send a card is they assume you have a PSC and need to apply free travel to it. I would check at your appointment if the Free Travel will be applied.

    As an aside, if you live alone, I'd apply for living alone allowance & Fuel allowance if you don't have them.
