Knee Replacement Waiting Lists - Ireland

    Hi,

    Im wondering does anybody have an idea of how long the HSE waiting lists are for a Partial or Full Knee Replacement. My elderly mother is seeing a consultant this month in Tullamore Hospital & it looks like she will need some type of replacement. She has severe osteoarthritis in her knees & can barely walk at the moment. Im afraid to actually hear the replies because I have an awful feeling that there is more than one year waiting period & so we may have no choice but to pay ourselves.

    Any feedback much appreciated. TIA
