Guinness Shortages in Scotland

My brother had problems getting hold of cans of Guinness in the local superstores in Dunblane and Stirling and I also heard about shortages in Dundee supermarkets from my brother-in-law. It seems a lot of folk are bulk buying for the festive season, hopefully you got your stout in before this highlighted shortage. He eventually got some in one of the Aldi's so all good for me as I'm visiting him for the New Year's Eve.

Plenty of articles about how it's gone kinda viral on social media, a lot more women drinking it, (it's low sugar compared to a lot of cocktails etc)

They've seemingly held the Irish supply lines well stocked and well they should

I had visions of a social media outcry if they exported more to the UK - harking back to the Great Hunger, and all our corn(Guinness) being sent next door
